I’m starting to put together my TBR List for 2026 and between the series that I’m reading, Top 2025 Book Lists, and the various award winning books I’d like to catch up on, I managed to list about 52 books. Not terrible, but my goal is to read 100 books this year.
Lucky for me, I have roughly 130 bought but unread books between my Audible, Kobo, GooglePlay Books and Kindle. So, I decided to have some fun and run the list through Chat GPT, asking which books it’d recommend based on my current bought list and my highest rated books from those I’ve read on the Blog so far.
Here’s it’s top 48 recommended books that it came up with:
Now of course I bought all of these books because I wanted to read them, so there’s no heartbreak here. However, I am really excited to see how well Chat GPT is able to nail down my reading style and Book Type.
I also believe in sustainable living and how over-consumption can spoil us, so I think this will be a great exercise in self-restraint, intentional reading, and maximizing my free-resources, such as the library and Net Galley.
I am so excited to see what 2026 has in store for us, and can’t wait to get started!
What books are you most looking forward to reading in 2026?
