Morning Readers & Happy Saturday!

It seems like September flew by in the flash of the eye, leaving my scrambling to keep up with reviews! Needless to say it’s been a busy month but I’ve been lucky to still find enough time to read here and there. Although it’s crazy to think that The God of the Woods will be the 50th book I’ve read to far this year!

Set in the summer of 1975 in the Adirondack Mountains, The God of the Woods begins with the disappearance of Barbara Van Laar, a 13-year-old daughter from the wealthy Van Laar family who goes missing from her bunk at Camp Emerson. This isn’t the first time tragedy has struck the Van Laars — Barbara’s older brother, Bear, vanished from the family’s summer estate fourteen years earlier, never to be found.

A fiction that follows the disappearance of two siblings, their mysterious disappearances into the woods happening years apart. This was a cute, easy read that kept you guessing throughout the book with surprising twists and turns. While not ground breaking this one is well worth the read!

Happy Reading!
