Morning Readers & Happy Friday!
I am less than a week until my courses in Landscape Design restart for the semester and I while I’m a little worried on how much time it may take from reading, I can’t wait to jump back into the world of Gardening!
This Advanced Reading Copy, The Roots that Bind Us, happened to be perfect for the mood and was a perfect match for me this week!

Neya Everille is hiding a dangerous secret, she is a synesthete who can sense magic in ways others cannot. Drawn more to plants than gemstones, she pursues botany at university, hoping to carve out her own path. But when her abilities are exposed, Neya is forced into entangled political tensions and a looming war while trying to hide her forbidden gifts.

Venrinn does such a great job at blending magic, botany, and political intrigue. The way that she describes magic and the natural world is so lyrical, it really pulls you into the moment. I really enjoyed this book, it’s a great cozy read for an easy evening/weekend. Whether you find it on your kindle or in store, I think you’ll enjoy this cute fantasy!
Happy Reading!
