Morning Readers & Happy Monday!
I just finished my third advanced reading copy ever ‘All We Have Is Time’, and I honestly didn’t realize just how hard it was to review books professionally. You love it, but you can’t spoil it and chances are a limited number of people have managed to read it as well. The anticipated release date jitters are real, just to see what other people think and share your love for the story; I can’t even imagine how compounded this feeling is for the author themselves!

Beatrix Lancourt it cursed with immortality and haunted by endless loss. She wanders through 16th-century London, a living witness to the endless passage of time.
One day, Beatrix’s life takes an unexpected turn when she’s caught pickpocketing by Oliver, a time traveler as impossible as her own immortality. Their fates entwine across eras, from Shakespeare’s London to the revelry of Venice’s Carnevale, their paths crossing amongst a backdrop of historical events until the impossible reveals a reality… even time travelers and the immortal might not have all the time in the world.

I loved the unique twist, the easy writing style and the historical backdrops, and while I feel a little like ‘it’s been done’, this story still manages to stand on its own. I thought the author did a wonderful job tying in the multitude of historical events impacting the lives of Londoners throughout the timeline, which for me is what really keys in a decent historical fiction.
Now, if you loved The Invisible Life of Addie Larue, chances are you will find similiar themes that echo the former, it was borderline for me for one spot in particular. Although this story leans more toward a comforting, cozy feel than a sweeping, melancholic one. A feel good, cozy read for the winter months!
Quotes:
“He breaks away and tips his forehead against hers. “You are trouble, Beatrix Atwood.” “And what does that make you?” she whispers. “Doomed.”
But a shadow is still connected to something real and solid and familiar, even as it stretches into a shape of its own.
“Where are you going?” He calls after her. “No idea,” she shouts over her shoulder, though that’s not entirely true. Wherever she ends up, she knows one thing for certain. It will be farther than she has ever been before.
Because this is how she lives. In memories made and moments shared, scattered through time like the stars shining in the heavens over Lancaut. Forever.

‘All We Have Is Time’ is an enchanting debut novel that blends historical romance, fantasy, and time travel into one cute read, I think you’ll enjoy!
Happy Reading!
