Morning Readers & Happy Wednesday!
Two of my three university courses are officially fully submitted and done for the summer! I’ve got one left to complete over the next couple of weeks and I am so excited to start in on a month-long break until the next semester begins in September! Of course this doesn’t mean slowing down, but it does mean that I can finish getting the ‘cottage’ ready to rent on Airbnb, catch up on the garden that’s been limping along, and of course focus on the blog & reading!
Today’s book, Educated by Tara Westover, is a story about personal growth and of course, the difference an education can make in not just our knowledge but our self-perception and how we view the world.
Tara Westover does a beautiful job of recounting her life growing up and persevering through family turmoil, and the isolation of her rural roots.
A few quotes that hit me:

This book was voiced by Julia Whelan who also narrated ‘The Great Alone’ and ironically at least, and I’m not joking, 11 other books that are on my TBR! If I keep loving these, I might just have to run down her portfolio as she seems to line up some great hits so far, an amazing pairing I would absolutely recommend!
