Honestly, I think I needed this book this weekend and thankfully these types of books just seem to be finding me lately. Somehow they just seem to put the feelings into words and when they’re staring back at you on paper, it just seems to make more sense that way.
The book was a sit your butt down with a glass of wine and binge read for a couple of evenings. I truly appreciated a rational character in the midst of a ‘cute romance’ novel, one that reflects with a certain amount of clarity and level-headedness. The ending was ok, but I think I really appreciated the journey of reflection the most. Definitely a ‘shelf-worthy’ read!
As it turns out, Monaghan has another book (A Love Story) being released on May 27th and I think I might just have to read a few more of her books before jumping into this next one as well.
